State funded research project granted to Vathos

Vathos has taken part in the „Leitmarktwettbewerb IKT“, a program by the state of NRW and the EU to support research projects in areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Industry 4.0, and together with a consortium submitted a proposal  for the research project „Web service for depth-image-based robot programming with methods of artificial intelligence“ (project name: WeRoKIt).

On Wednesday, January 8th, the Minister of Economics and Digital Affairs, Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart, handed the funding awards to the winning proposals. We are looking forward to collaborate with our partners in the next 3 years to implement the jointly planned WeRoKIt project (incl. building a demonstrator). The consortium consists of:

  • Vathos GmbH, Düsseldorf
  • Arthur Bräuer GmbH & Co. KG, Kirchhundem
  • REWE Digital GmbH, Cologne
  • aha Albert Haag GmbH, Korschenbroich
